The 40th Annual Key, Lock & Lantern Convention has been scheduled for the
weekend of May 5, 2012, at its traditional location in Albany, NY, at the
Albany/Glenmont Comfort Inn. As always, the convention will include displays of
railroad memorabilia, a swap meet & auction, and plenty of time to discuss
railroading with other history buffs.

The NRHS National Railway Historical Society 2012 convention will be based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Featuring five days of train trips on regional carriers including the Iowa Interstate, Iowa Northern, and former interurban Cedar Rapids & Iowa City, it will also host additional events at the Old Threshers facility in Mount Pleasant as well as local history tours, visits to industrial facilities, seminars and the traditional convention meetings.
